He was born May 20, 1920, in Anderson County, Tennessee, to the late George and Lassie Whitaker Caughorn. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. He retired after 30 years of service from General Motors. Glenn was a member of the Grace Apostolic Church in Toledo, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Lillie May Rains Caughorn; brother, Claude Caughorn, and sisters, Mary Sanders and Betty Monhollen. Survivors: son, David Caughorn of Ohio; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; one great- grandson, and sister, Bonnie Wilson of Caryville, Tenn. He was of the Baptist Faith. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Knox County School Systems. Preceded in death by parents, Ellis E. and Evangeline Ferguson. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Ruby Ferguson; son, Curtis Ferguson; daughter, Debbie Boone; very special grandson, Jason Ferguson; brother and sister- in-law, Leon and Joann Ferguson of Claxton; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Mack Petty of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. He was born January 27, 1944, in Anderson County, Tennessee, to the late Ernest Clair and Dorothy Labonte Kiehl. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and very good friend of Donnie Disney. He was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church and loved going to church. She was the oldest living member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She loved her family and her life revolved around her family and her church. She loved cooking meals for her family and was an avid gardener. Preceded in death by husband, George W. Tidwell; infant daughter, Thelma Lee Tidwell; granddaughter, Karen Rhoades; grandson, Charles E. McCoy; parents, William & Nettie Harmon Sharp; sister, Phyllis Goodman; brother, Luther Sharp; half-brother, Coy Gaylor. Mrs. Tidwell was born July 14, 1911 in Campbell County. She was employed by Emory Valley Center in Oak Ridge for 17 years, and was the loving caregiver for Missy and Lee. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Julie Long Scarbrough. Mary was born September 18, 1931, in Anderson County. Survivors: husband, I. M.
