No, as it turns out, he was the son of Lemuel Adkins---Ed Smith's line. And, yes, I have a Rev Lacy Adkins in my line that you sent me the picture of. He was born later than Lemuel's son. Erlyne, my dad was a Baptist preacher, and he used to hold revivals with a Rev. Lacy Adkins when we lived in Morgan Co., TN. I was wondering about him, because he spent many hours at our house when I was a child. no relation, but really close friends.
