Nelson, 57, of Jacksboro, ===================================== James Franklin Fraley, 58 of 186 Indian Creek Road, Jacksboro, died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Myrtle Lindsey Fraley; brothers, Charles, Stan and John. Mr. Fraley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Scott and Cheryl Fraley, GA; son, Jason Fraley, Knoxville; daughter, Jamie Lee Fraley, Jacksboro; three grandsons, Aaron, Evan, and Alex Fraley, all of GA; brother, James Troy Fraley; sister, Mary Ruth Bruce, both of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Sunday, June 8 in the Chapel of the Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Reverends Rick Howard and Junior Dilbeck officiated. Interment was Monday, June 9 in Indian Creek Cemetery with full military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard. The family received friends Sunday night before the funeral services. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. June 12, 2003 LaFollette Press Patsy Ann (Anthony) Goley, 51 of Williamsburg, KY, died Friday May 30, 2003 at her home. She was a member of Newcomb Church of God. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Anthony, Terry Anthony; parents, Luther Junior and Geneva Anthony. Mrs. Goley is survived by her husband, Jim Goley, Kensee, KY; two sons, David Goley and companion Charlotte, Jellico, Allen W. Douglas and wife Darla, Kensee, KY; one daughter, Wendy Allen Gray and husband, Thomas, Williamsburg, KY; four grandaughters, Tosha, Sidney, Kanisha and Chelsea; one grandson, Devin Lee; one brother, Donnie Lynn Anthony, Williamsburg, KY; one sister, Robin Gail Anthony Goins, LaFollette; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Wednesday June 4 in the Chapel of Harp Funeral Home. Rev. Durand Dixon officiated. Visitation was Tuesday June 10 at the Funeral Home. Harp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. June 12, 2003 LaFollette Press Unavee Goodman, 63 of Lake City, died Friday June 6, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born March 21, 1940 in Anderson County to the late Elbert and Sarah Bray Goodman. Unavee was a member of Free Communion Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Darrell and Beverly Goodman, Jacksboro, Gary and Gloria Goodman, Lake City; brothers, Austin Goodman, Lake City, Hoye Goodman, Devonia, Dale Goodman, Lake City; sisters, Bernice Goodman, Clinton, and Georgia Byrge, Fratersville; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was Monday June 9 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral services followed in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel. Reverends Gary Luke Ward and Gregory Dale Goodman officiated. Gray, 69 of LaFollette, died Friday June 6, 2003, at Sunbridge Health Care. He is survived by his wife, Mary Casey Gray, LaFollette; sisters, Louise McMinn, IL, Patricia Duke, FL. and Evelyn Harris, AL. Funeral services were Saturday June 7 at Cross Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Reynolds officiated. Interment was at Powell Valley Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. June 12, 2003 LaFollette Press Bill Jones, 68 of Lake City, (Oak Grove Community), died Tuesday, June 3, 2003. He was of the Baptist Faith. He retired form CSX Railroad in 1992 where he had worked for 37 years. Bill loved music and was often heard singing and tapping his toes to old country favorites. He was a loving man who enjoyed the mountains, his family and friends, and a game of poker every now and then. Let us all cherish his memory and be proud to have known him. Bill was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Nichole Jones; parents, Levi and Nannie Jones; sister, Bonnie Senters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold and Jerri Anteau. He is survived by his loving wife and companion for 23 years, Susan Jones, Lake City; Toby and Lady, their beloved Labradors; daughter, Debbie Grinder and husband Will, Lake City; sons, Jerry and wife Kim Jones, Billy Jones and Terry Jones, all of Lake City and Todd Jones, Oak Ridge; step children, Robert Allen Domagola, Temperce, MI, Tammy Uher, Millburg, OH, Vicky Carson, Tantogany, OH; sister, Dessie Terrell, Corbin, KY; brothers, Hubert Jones, Corbin, KY, Virgil Jones, Summerset, KY, Gene Jones, Williamsburg, KY; brother-in-law, Jerry Anteau and wife Diane, Maumee, OH; 16 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends. Lasley, 62, of 1066 Letner Road, Helenwood, died Tuesday June 3, 2003 at the Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of the Upper Jellico Creek Baptist Church and the American Legion. Franklin enjoyed fishing and hunting ginseng. Mr. Lasley was a veteran of Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meady Anna Lindsay; parents, Sherman and Dora Cooper Lasley; brothers, Marshall and Clifford Lasley; sisters, Thelma Chitwood and Francis Lasley. Mr. Lasley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Darcy Lasley, Clinton; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Bill White, Jacksboro; daughter, Jo Ann Hart, Helenwood; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Willard Lasley, Caryville, Herman Lasley, Chattanooga, Ray and Charles Lasley, both of Dayton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Sanders Medical Center of Loudon County. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. Elizabeth would have been a social worker. She loved to help people and loved her family very much and adored her cat. She was employed by the University of Tennessee and loved music. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Lindsey; grandfather, Jimmy Lee Duncan and great grandmother, Ida Kirkland. Ms. Lindsey is survived by her parents, John E. and Delores Duncan Lindsey, Jacksboro; brother and sister-in-law, Michael L. and Jewell Lindsey, LaFollette; maternal grandmother, Cora Lea Duncan, Jacksboro; paternal grandparents, Robert O. and Christine Lindsey, McMinnville; two nephews, Michael Lindsey Jr. and Coy Jacob Lindsey, both of LaFollette; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. (Brother) Miller, 82 of LaFollette, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a veteran of WWII and was retired from the Campbell County Highway Dept. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dora Norman Miller. Mr. Miller is survived by his sons, Kenny Miller, Jacksboro, Dennis Miller, OH; daughter, Linda Nickles, OH; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Delphia Violet, Jellico, Martha Blankenship, Caryville; very special friends, Wanda Sue Bartley and Robert Allen. Funeral services were Saturday June 7 at Midway Baptist Church. Reverends Johnny Dabney and Leonard Dabney officiated. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred Louise Rutherford; son, Ernest Muse; grandson, Timothy Gerald Rutherford; parents, Ernest and Lourania Brooks; sisters, Maggie Muse and Edna Bailey. Nelson, 57, of 191 Willow Tree Lane, Jacksboro, died Sunday June 8, 2003 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Nelson was a member of the Stooksbury Masonic Lodge #602 F &AM, Scottish Rite Mason of Knoxville. He loved fishing and four wheeling. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Nelson and brother, Veldon Nelson. Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife Anna Nelson; daughters, Patricia Nelson Damewood, and Laura Hatfield, all of Jacksboro; father, Millard Nelson, LaFollette; brothers, Glen, Ronald, and Marshall Nelson, all of LaFollette, Rev. Virgil and Laddie Nelson, Center, KY; sisters, Kathleen Reynolds, LaFollette, Janice Suggs, Dayton, OH, Reva McGurk, West Chester, OH; grandchildren, T.J., Kristine, and Jennifer Hatfield, Kimberly Damewood; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
