Hi I am researching the Bird family of Scott TN On the census of 1850, this family is listed as Jessee, age 51, Nancy age 87 and one child is Burton Bird who is my ggg grandfather. I assume that Jessee Bird is his father, and Nancy possibly his grandmother.? Hope someone else is researching this family as any help would be wonderful. I found a Burton Bird married to Mary Anderson 2/24/1856 in Scott County. Is this the same Burton Bird you are looking for? I also found a Jessee Bird with a son named Burton who was 16 years of age in the 1850 Scott County Census.....Would this be him?
