Veteran of WWII serving with the US Army Medical Corps. Retired Area Supervisor from Union Carbide Corp. Member of the Elks Lodge #1684. Preceded in death by parents, August A. and Ebba Wicklund Forseman; a son, Michael Anders Forseman; and a sister, Arletta Marie Olson. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Regina Lana Forseman; son, Kirk Peter Forseman of Knoxville; daughter, Lana Marie Bowes of Sevierville; brother, Jack Woodrow Forseman and his wife Betty of Oak Ridge; sister-in-law, Roberta Lana of Fargo, ND; 2 grandchildren, Amber Dawn Bowes of Maryville and Brittany Ariel Bowes of Sevierville; nieces and nephews, Belinda Jill Kenney and her husband, Ron of Boulder, CO and their son Brandon; Timothy Jack Forseman of Greenville, SC and Jay Olson of Redondo Beach, CA. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 11:00am at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Woods officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge. KING, IRENE ELIZABETH - age 92, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at the Windwood Healthcare Center. She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, J. Kirby King; daughter, Janice K. McFarland; brother, Alonzo Willis and sister, Myrtle Comer. Mrs. King was born April 18, 1911 in Anderson County. Survivors: son, Lynn King of Clinton; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
