>From The Oak Ridger 19 Jun 2003 Robert Willard Forseman, 83, of Oak Ridge, Patricia Ann Salisbury, 74, of Oak Ridge, John H. Tipton, of the Solway Community, ===================================== Robert Willard Forseman, 83, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Duluth, Minn., he was the son of August Anders Forseman and Ebba Hortense Wicklund, both now deceased. Mr. Forseman is a World War II veteran, who served with the U.S. Army in the Medical Corp. Prior to coming to Oak Ridge in 1946 and his military service, Mr. Forseman worked with Union Carbide Corp in Duluth. When he came to Oak Ridge he began work at the K-25 site and later went to the Y-12 Plant, and retiring in 1984 as an area supervisor. Mr. Forseman was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1684, he bowled with a plant league and with the senior league, and his family said he enjoyed golfing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Anders Forseman, on Feb. 3, 1972, and by a sister, Arletta Marie Olson. Mr. Forseman is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Regina Lana Forseman; a son, Kirk Peter Forseman of Knoxville; a daughter, Lana Marie Bowes of Sevierville; a brother, Jack Woodrow Forseman and wife, Betty, of Oak Ridge; a sister-in-law, Roberta Lana of Fargo, N.D.; two grandchildren, Amber Dawn Bowes of Maryville and Brittany Ariel Bowes of Sevierville; and by three nieces and nephews, Timothy Jack Forseman of Greenville, S.C., Jay Olson of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Belinda Jill Kenney and husband, Ron, of Boulder, Colo., and their son Brandon. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Anderson Memorial Gardens on Oliver Springs Highway with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Weatherford Mortuary. Patricia Ann Salisbury, 74, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete at press time. John H. Tipton, of the Solway Community, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at his home.
