Thought this obit would be of interest to someone. she wasn't from Scott but her husband is. Stella Beatrice Gibson, 56, of Dalton, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Hamilton Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Bell and her father, Ralph Wallace Bell. Survivors include her husband, Odeva Gibson, of the residence daughters and sons-in-laws, Timothy and Sheila Kendrick and Eugene and Cathy Bell, both of Dalton; grandchildren, Corey Wimpy and Courtney BEll; sisters and brothers-in-laws Dillon and Doris Ponders, Lelon and Inez Gibson and Randy and Dianne Sauders, all of Dalton; mother-in-law, Laura Gibson of Huntsville, TN; two sisters-in-law of Huntsville andone brother-in-law of Huntsville, TN. Services were Friday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Cofield officiating. Burial will be in the Varnell Cemetary. She was a great lady.
