Census West, William N., 35 married twice West, Sylvania, 32, marrie twice, West, John H., 19, bro, single Duncan, Rachel, 17, lists dau, but should be step-daughter. Rachel is the daughter of Emanuel Duncan and Sylvania Phillips who divorced in 1898. Rachel also had two children by John H. West and in a conversation with the daughter of Rachel I was told that John H. was William's brother. I am not sure of who William was married to prior to marrying Sylvania. Is this the same family that you are talking about?
