    3. Connie, Is this a list of all the prisoners or just those who died?? Where can a list of prisoners and releases be found or a copy gotten for Johnson's Island. As I understand it. Johnson's Island was a prison for Policial prisoners and Confederate Officers, to get them as far away from their troops as possible. I had a gg-grandfather there and would love to see a copy of his records and amnesty papers,( parole papers). Half Yankee and half rebel and proud to be American.
