Mr. Buhl was a member and served as an elder of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church in Mentor and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a University of Kentucky wildcats sports fanatic, a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. He was a very patient, loving, giving and most unselfish man who lived for his family. Mr. Buhl was a plant manager for Mobil Oil Corp. in Cleveland for 29 years before his retirement in 1994. He was preceded in death by 1st wife: Eleanor L. Buhl and parents: Hobert and Imogene Buhl. Mr. Buhl is survived by wife: Jean McCauley Buhl; daughters and sons-in-law: Becky and Ron Mann and Edie and Joseph Galiardi all of Mentor; grandchildren: Erik Kinney, Gabrielle Galiardi and Olivia Galiardi; stepson: Robbie McCauley of Mentor; stepson and wife: David and Teresa McCauley of Fairview, WV; step grandchildren; Brittany, Kayla, Matthew, Chad, Marcus, Brittany, Cory and Cierra; brother: Harold Buhl of Cincinnati, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald and Nadine Buhl of Elizabeth Town, KY; Hobert Jr. and Connie Buhl of Eastlake, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary and Frank Alguer of Greenville, NC; Gloria and Paul Caldwell of Vinegrove, KY; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, January 25 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Gaylor officiating. Interment will follow in Pond Cemetery with full military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Saturday at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. CRAFT, ARNOLD K. - age 89, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center from complications following an automobile accident. He was born January 1, 1915 in Lillydale, TN. He and his wife moved to Oak Ridge in 1947. He attended Beech Park Baptist Church in Oliver Springs and was an avid fisherman and turkey hunter. He also enjoyed gardening and yard work. Mr. Craft retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems / Y-12 where he was a painter. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ethelene Copeland Craft, March 22, 1995. He is survived by: children, Keith Craft and wife Janice of Oak Ridge, Paul Craft and wife Jane of Austell, GA, Barbara Renfro and husband Bart of Oak Ridge and Garry Craft and wife Kathy of Knoxville; brother, J. E. HUDDLESTON, DELLA WELCH - age 80 of Athens, died Friday morning at her residence. A native of LaFollette, TN, she was a daughter of the late Seth Edgar and Tina Bowman Welch. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Huddleston, January 5, 1993. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Doug Ford, Helen and Jerry Millsaps, and Jennifer and Michael Johnson, all of Athens, Janet and Mitchell Elkins of Dacula, GA, and Deborah and Jerry David of Riceville; three sisters, Helen Welch of Athens, Virginia Parrott and Ruth Young, both of Redwood, CA and Wynn Hooks of Trenton, MI; two brothers, J.S. Jerry Smith Funeral Home, Athens in charge. POORE, RALPH A. - age 75, of Belleville, Michigan, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at Arbor Hospice The Residence, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born August 2, 1928, to the late William Bruce and Juanita Lee (White) Poore, in Anderson County, Tennessee. He was a salesman at heart, selling many things such as mausoleum spaces to organs. He also enjoyed golf and traveling, especially cruises. He was a member of the American Legion and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Preceded in death by wife, Lucy (Keys) Poore and brother, R.C. Poore. He is survived by sister, Mary Carroll of Belleville, Michigan; brother, William Poore, Jr. of Adrian, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, January 23, 2004 at David C. Brown Funeral Home, Belleville, Michigan with Pastor Keith Jackson officiating. He was a member of the Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church and was a WWII Veteran. Mr. Shoun was a loving, son, husband, brother, and uncle who will be missed by all his loved ones. Mr. Shoun was a devoted Christian man who loved his church. He was preceded in death by wife: Virginia Dupuy Shoun; parents: Webster and Mazie Weaver Shoun; sister: Miriam Littner.Mr. Shoun is survived by sister: Helen Godfrey; nieces and nephews: Austin Eugene Godfrey Jr. and Paula Coram all of Knoxville and a host of other relatives and friends.
