JAMES LEON - WEBESTER, EUNICE E. - 80, of Oak Ridge ========================================= GOINS, REV. ROBERT PAUL - age 66, of Powell passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Mariner Healthcare of Norris. Veteran of U.S. Air Force. He was an electronics instructor at Jacksboro Vocational Tech and Anderson Co. High School, an avid pilot with both private and commercial license as well as instructors certification, and retired Church of God Pastor. Preceded in death by: parents, Otha and Nona Goins; sister, Shirley. Survivors include: wife of 43 years, Donna Goins; daughters, Shirley Douglas and husband Tim, Shelly Kirk, Kimberly King and husband Chester; grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Douglas, and Allen King; aunt, Jeanette Wilson; and several cousins. Funeral service 8 p.m. Thursday at Lynnhurst- Greenwood Chapel. Rev. Robert Lee Walden, Billy Sharp, and Rev. Ned Asbury officiating. Interment 1 p.m. Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. JAMES LEON - God Chose Jan. 6, 2004 to call Rev. Leon Mayo home. He was a retired Southern Baptist Minister. Rev. Mayo pastored several churches, Dupont Baptist, West Lonsdale, First Baptist of Huntsville, TN, Beech Springs, Union Grove and Sandridge Baptist. Rev. Mayo was also involved in several Foreign Mission trips in his life time. He was a dedicated minister to his churches, a loving husband and father. Rev. Mayo lived and died serving our Lord his entire life and was best remembered as a Godly man. Preceded in death by: his parents, Walter and Minnie Mayo; brothers, Ernest and Milton Mayo. Survivors: wife, Geraldine Mayo; son and daughter-in- law, Kenneth Mayo and wife Nancy; daughter and son-in law: Jenny Griggs and husband Larry; grandchildren, Jeff Mayo of Atlanta, Ki and Derek Giggs of Knoxville. Funeral services 7 p.m. Thursday at West Lonsdale Baptist Church, 2720 Dayton Street, Knoxville. His brother Rev. Ernest Mayo officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Friday at Dupont Cemetery. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com). WEBESTER, EUNICE E. - 80, of Oak Ridge passed away Monday January 5, 2004 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. She was born September 27, 1923 in Morgan County, TN to the late Paris G. and Myrtle Hill Webster. Ms. Webster was a retired librarian at Oak Ridge National Laboratory retiring in 1988. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge, where she was very active. She enjoyed traveling, various sports, sewing and reading. She attended college at the University of Tennessee. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by: her brothers, Warren R. Webster and Roy Eugene Webster; a sister, Dorothy Webster Muller. She is survived by: two sisters and their husbands; Patricia and Edward Cunningham of Mexia, TX, Ann and Leigh Charamella of East Lansing, MI: and by four brothers, James G. Webster of Knoxville, John K. Webster of Hamilton, OH, William F. Webster and wife Barbara of Knoxville and Ronald A. Webster and wife of Diane of Knoxville. Numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be Friday January 9, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Davis Cemetery in Coalfield. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 at the funeral home. Friends may also call at their convenience any time after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home Friday.
