She attended East Jacksboro Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, big sister and niece who enjoyed playing basketball, riding her bicycle, collecting Bratz dolls and loved being with her mother. She also enjoyed shopping with her grandmother. He was born October 19, 1913 in Anderson County to the late Hugh and Bertha Pickle Johnson. He was a member of the Lake City Christian Fellowship. He was a retired Coal Miner and member of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Elizabeth Housley Johnson; daughter-in-law, Senie Johnson and niece, Betty Jo Johnson. He is survived by his son, Roy D. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joan and his wife of 57 years, Jean Duncan Lester.
