She was born June 25, 1970 in Anderson County, Tenn. She was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church in South Clinton. She enjoyed bowling, crafts, quilting with her mother, before her mother passed away, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Phillips. A graduate of UT and Charter Member of CC American Federation of Teachers. She was also a 50 years member of the Order of Eastern Star, past Worthy Matron and Past President of CCRTA. A devoted member of the Democratic Party and Jellico Alumni Association.
