JOHN D., JR - age 84 GRAY, MARY CASEY - age 75 of LaFollette, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005. Preceded in death by: husband, Thomas Auttie Gray. Survivor: sister, Bertha Artus, LaFollette. Graveside service & interment 10 a.m. Monday, Powell Valley Cemetery, Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home. SINGLETON, WILLIAM ANDREW - age 86 of Clinton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at his residence in Clinton. He was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church, Veteran of US Army, having served in World War Two. Retired from X-10 Martin Marietta as a Security Supervisor after 42 years of service. Member of Clinton Alpha Masonic Lodge # 376 F&AM. Preceded in death by: his parents, Herbert and Daisy Singleton; and a brother, Ben Singleton. Survivors: wife, Anna Louise Singleton of Clinton; son, Harold and his wife Terrie Singleton of Asheville, NC; daughter, Nancy Haynes of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Sheridan Miller, Shannon Jones, Heather Widner, and April Boling; great grandchildren, Brooke Widner, De Anna Boling, Austin Boling, Jessica Boling, Ainsley Miller and Ella Jones; brother, Lawrence Singleton of Lake City; sisters, Louise Dagley of Clinton, Bonnie Jean Henderson of Clinton, Mildred Sweet of Clinton and Virginia Nelson of Clinton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1:00 pm Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at Black Oak Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Pugh and Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Interment will follow the funeral services in the church cemetery. JOHN D., JR - age 84 a resident of the Victorian Square in Rockwood, formerly of Rosedale Avenue in Kingston, passed away Saturday, November 26 at the Roane Medical Center. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II; a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in Harriman; a life member and past commander of VFW Post 810; a life member of the Elks Lodge in Pontiac, Michigan; a life member and past commander of VFW Post 4782 in Rockwood; and an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Sr. and Grace Ward; a brother, J.T. Ward; and a wife, Billie J. Greene Ward. Survivors include: son, John D. Ward III of Crossville; daughter, Susan Stout of Locust, North Carolina; stepson, A. Gairty Hutto Jr. of Walhalla, South Carolina; stepdaughter, Sandra Hutto Burgess Orr of West Union, South Carolina; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29 at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Mason Goodman and Rev. Mike Winters officiating.
