    2. From The Knoxville News Sentinel 10 Nov 2005 BRUCE, KENNETH "KEN" - age 48 of LaFollete, BRUCE, KENNETH "KEN" - age 48 of LaFollete, passed on November 8, 2005 in Lafollette. He was a very active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Ken was a loving husband of 26 years and a very devoted father, son, and brother whose life was about God, family, and country. He was a 20 year US Army Veteran. After completing his active duty career in the US Army, he began his teaching career at Newcomb Elementary School in 1992 and then went to LaFollette Middle School as a Teacher, later becoming an Assistant Principal there. He then became a Principal at East LaFollette Elementary School where he remained until accepting the position of Assistant Principal at Campbell County High School in the year 2000. Ken touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a wonderful and unique sense of humor and will always be remembered for his one-liners. Survived by: wife, Jo Bruce; sons, Christopher and Patrick Bruce; parents, Gene and Beverly Hogarth Bruce all of LaFollette; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Maxine Bramlett of Jasper, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Mary Dee Bruce of LaFollette; sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Mark Montgomery of LaFollette; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Debbie Bramlett of Jasper, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be 10 am Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Joe Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The funeral home will be open for visitation on Friday, November 11, 2005 from 9 am until 4 pm, then Mr. Bruce will be taken to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm with a scripture and rosary service following at 8 pm.
