From The Knoxville News Sentinel 16 Nov 2005 BROWNING, PAUL DOUGLAS "CHIEF" - age 60, a resident of Oliver Springs, BUNCH, BRUCE E., SR. - age 54 of Knoxville CROMWELL, MARTHA JONES - age 87 of Wartburg, formerly of Sunbright and King ston, IRVIN, WILLIE VANEY - age 88, KENNEDY, INEZ - age 78 of East Knoxville, SNOW, CLIFFORD (CLIFF) - age 72 of Oak Ridge, BROWNING, PAUL DOUGLAS "CHIEF" - age 60, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Monday, November 14, 2005 at his home. He was born February 16, 1945 in Raven, Virginia. Chief retired from the X-10 plant in Oak Ridge after working thirty years. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, boating and fishing. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Browning and one sister, Christina Browning. Survivors: daughter, Tina Browning Rauhuff of Powell; grandsons, Stephen Shane Rauhuff, Tony Aaron Rauhuff, Adrian Paul Rauhuff; brother, Jerry Hurley of Kentucky; sisters, Joyce Dotson of Kentucky, Juanita May of Varnville, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rodney Marlow, Pat Kelly, Ray Bolden, Hubert C. Booker. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Home with funeral service following the visitation at 8:00 pm, in the chapel with Captain Bill McKinley officiating. BUNCH, BRUCE E., SR. - age 54 of Knoxville passed away on Thursday November 10,2005 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Bruce was a local entertainer in the Knoxville area. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Burrville. A life time member of the Eastern Star in Kingston where she lived for many years. She was retired from White Stores in Kingston. She was preceded in death by her husband; Carl F. Cromwell Sr., parents; Thomas and Nancy Morgan Jones, infant daughter, Marilyn, sisters, Annie Jones, Amy Spurling, Virgie Brown, brothers, Egbert, Menford, Dillard, Ray, Stanley Jones and an infant brother. IRVIN, WILLIE VANEY - age 88, passed away on Monday evening, November 14, 2005 at Fort Sanders Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Willie V. was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ in Oak Ridge, TN and was a resident of Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville, TN. Willie V. devoted most of her adult life to teaching in the public schools of Hamblen County where she served as a teacher and principal at Pineville and Miller W. Boyd Schools. Willie V. is preceded in death by: brothers, James Irvin, Lacy Irvin; sisters, Edmonia Goins, Anna Lou Lyons, Doris Irvin, Willard Graham, and Blanch Jarnagin; nephews, Victor Graham, Herman Hoyt Goins, Curtis Goins; niece, Elsie Goins. Surviving relatives include: nephews, Thomas L. Goins and wife Elizabeth, Eugene Edward Clark and wife Barbara, Michael Graham; nieces, Katherine Summerour and husband Carl, Agnes Bush and Margaret Graham; and a host of great and great- great nieces and nephews. SNOW, CLIFFORD (CLIFF) - age 72 of Oak Ridge, formerly of Tulare County, CA and Orland, CA, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 14, 2005. Cliff was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship in Oak Ridge, where he served as a Deacon and AWANA Commander. He was retired from Terminix Pest Control with 26 years of service. He was a member of the Handyman Club of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Irene Snow; brother, Neil Snow. Survivors: wife of 34 years, Peggy Haskins Snow; sons, Michael and Paul of Southern CA, David and Daryl Snow of Oak Ridge; daughters, Valerie and Victoria; several grandchildren and a great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
