JAMES AARON - age 27 of Harriman, WITT, MARY FRANCES - of Knoxville, FOX, LLOYD CARL - age 73, a lifetime resident of Claxton, passed away peacefully Monday, November 7, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family where they gave the promise that they would find him again. A retired electrician serving Anderson and Roane Counties for 42 years, also serving as deacon and member of Spring Hill Baptist Church of Powell. Lloyd is preceded in death by: his parents, Leonard and Callie Pearl Nichols Fox; 2 brothers, Clarence and Charles; and 2 infant sisters. Survivors: his caring wife of 50 years, Mary Lou Cooper Fox of Knoxville; son, Lowell Fox & wife Lisa of Claxton; daughters, Shelby Haun of Claxton, Karen Vaulton of Claxton; grandchildren, Wayne Haun, Daniel Vaulton & wife Christina, Charlie and Joey Fox, April Webb & husband Ken; great grandchildren, Alex and Brandon Webb; sisters, Marjorie Metcalf, Wanda Nelson & husband J.D., Ruby Nelson & husband Archie, Doris Webber & husband Lynn, Stella Braden & husband Calvin; host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to Thank Caris Hospice and Staff for their care during Mr. Fox's illness. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the Chapel with Rev. Archie Nelson and Rev. Calvin Braden officiating. His burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday at the Bells Campground Cemetery with Rev. Bill McCarty officiating and also Full Military Honors at graveside. His nephews will serve as pallbearers and grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. JEFFERS, FLOYD H. - age 82 of Winona, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 06, 2005 at his home. Born in Scott County, Tennessee June 5, 1923, he was the son of the late Samuel Oscar and Lucinda Jeffers. He was a member of the Winona Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Adult Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He was a retired educator with the Scott County School System with 40 years of service, having taught at Norma High School and Scott High School. He had a great interest in genealogy and had written two books. His favorite pastime was working on his small cattle farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his brothers, Marley and wife May, Loy Jeffers and wife Eldora, and L.D. Jeffers; sisters, Flora Harness and husband Jake, Flossie Marcum and husband Elmer; half-sister, Artincy Harness; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Raines, Lee Smith and wife Ora, Bennie Smith and wife Mary Ellen. Mr. Jeffers is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Minnie Lou Smith Jeffers of Winona; daughters, Sandra Jo Young and husband Harold of Robbins, Nancy Burke and husband Darrel of Oneida; grandchildren, Derek Young and wife Beth of Chattanooga, Miranda Young of Chattanooga and Holly Young of Robbins; step-granddaughter, Alson Moser and husband Joe; step great grandson, Conner Moser, all of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Francis Raines of Robbins and Velma Jeffers of Helenwood; brother-in-law, Alton Smith and wife Doris of Huntsville, Alabama. Floyd also leaves several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday evening, November 9, 2005 at 8 pm in the Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Smith and Chaplin Clay Mulford officiating. Special music will be provided by the Hamby Brothers. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11 am at the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery with Full Military Honors by American Legion Post #136 of Oneida. The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm until time for the funeral services at 8 pm at Jones and Son Funeral Home. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Oneida, TN. WEBB, MR. JAMES AARON - age 27 of Harriman, passed away early Sunday morning, November 6, 2005 at the Roane Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kristy Dawn Webb. James is survived by his father, Charles Lee Webb and his mother, Kathleen Moore Webb both of Harriman; one brother, Thad Webb of Virginia Beach, Va.; two nephews, Dusty and Lucke Webb; his grandmother, Gwendolyn Gaines; uncle, Dan Moore and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Paul White officiating. Davis Funeral Home, Harriman in charge of arrangements. WITT, MARY FRANCES - of Knoxville, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 in Jasper, AL. She was born in Jellico, TN. Mrs. Witt was a member of St. James Episcopal Church of Knoxville and the widow of James L. Witt, Jr. She is survived by: her son, James L. Witt, III and his wife, Patricia of Jasper, AL; grandchildren, Brittany Frances Witt and James L. Witt, IV; sister & brother-in-law, Katherine & James Gracy of Nashville; nieces and nephew, Debbie Gracy Smith of Brentwood, TN, Susan Gracy Hewes of Memphis, Cathy Gracy Kermicle of Nashville, Page Gracy of Mt. Juliet, and Anita Gracy Jacky of Charlotte, NC; as well as several great nieces & nephews. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery Wednesday for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with The Very Rev. Joseph H. Ballard, Jr., officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave, Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136-1494.
