From the Oak Ridger 18 Jan 2006 Betty G. Attrill, age 79, of Nashville, Beatrice B. McAndrews, 94, of Oak Ridge, Mary Margaret Owens Styles, age 80, of Oak Ridge, Alice E. Olszewski, age 87, of Oak Ridge, Betty G. Attrill, age 79, of Nashville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim Attrill; son, Ed (Fran) Attrill; daughter, Molly (Mark) Phy; sister, Mary Rachel (Gus) Halliburton; and grandchildren, Lindsey and Chris Phy. Mrs. Attrill was a member of P.E.O., and Belmont United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, in Woodlawn Funeral Home South Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. John Collett officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at the funeral home. McAndrews, 94, of Oak Ridge, passed away at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge under the care of Caris Hospice on Tuesday, Jan. I7, 2006. She was born in Knox County, the daughter of Curtis and Margaret Whitehead Burnett. Mrs. McAndrews came to Oak Ridge in 1944. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years in 1988, and four brothers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge. She is survived by her daughter, Jody Walker and her husband Ray, of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Lynne Harrison and her husband Ed, of Lenoir City, Laura Wagner and her husband Mark, of Oak Ridge, Jeff Walker and his wife Debbie of Collierville, and Eric Walker and his wife Joy of Boynton Beach, Fla.; her great-grandchildren, Scott Hinton and his wife Toyna of Oak Ridge, Erin Brown and her husband Ronnie of Knoxville, Kimberly Schubert and her husband Phillip of Oak Ridge, John Wagner of Orlando, Fla., Jason and Cathy Walker of Collierville, Tenn., and Erika and Monica Walker of Boynton Beach, Fla.; her brother, Alvin Burnett of Knoxville; her sister, Betty Edwards of Seymour; and special sister-in-law, Annice Burnett of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Ruby Fraiser of Blaine, Tenn. Graveside services are Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at noon at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Borchert officiating. Mary Margaret Owens Styles, age 80, of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge. Mrs. Styles was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Bidderford, Maine, to the late Harold and Ellen Lynch Underwood. Mrs. Styles was a member of the Lick Fork Baptist Church and was retired from Krystal's as a floor manager. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, exercising, and walked a mile a day until her health begin to fail. She also attended the Senior Citizens Center of Oak Ridge. Mrs. Styles was a loving mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, Mrs. Styles was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Styles; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jones; son, Carl Kenneth Owens; grandson, David Owens; great-granddaughter, Laklee Owens; brother, Harold Underwood; and sisters, Rita Petrin and Kathleen Borsonneault. She is survived by five sons, David Owens and wife Brenda of Oak Ridge, John Owens and wife Jenny of Clinton, Paul Owens and wife Debbie of Claxton, Mitchell Owens and wife Charllet of Knoxville, and Randy Owens of Oak Ridge. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Norman officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
