Hello Lists, I say Lists because I'm sending to more than one My father JAMES HENRY WARD, my Grandpa HENRY WARD, my Uncle NATHANIEL WEST, my Great grandpa FRELAND WARD, my step grandpas SID MOHLER and WILEY CROSS, my Step Uncles CLARENCE CROSS, FLETCHER CROSS and Fletcher's son LEON FLETCHER CROSS, my husband's grandpa in the Wales, were all coal miners. My father was injured in the mines in 1951. My step uncles Clarence and Fletcher as well as Fletcher's son Leon, who was my age, all died in the coal mines. Please reflect today and think of the miners in West Virginia who are trapped as well as their families. Pray for the best but it looks pretty dim at the moment.... Yes, there was an explosion at a coal mine in West Virginia early yesterday morning. They think it might have been caused by lightning, since they were having storms at the time. There are 13 miners trapped inside. So far, the news doesn't look good, with the tests they have done on air quality. But those miners' families still have hope the air is better where they are trapped. My prayers are with them all. Here's a couple of news articles about it.
