The following Obituary was in The Dayton Daily News today (03 January 2006). It may be of interest to someone. Claude Brooks, Bobby J., age 67, of Hillsboro, OH, formerly of Fairborn, OH passed away, December 31, 2005. Bobby was born November 10, 1938 in Coal Field, Tennessee, the son of the late Kenneth and Maudine Brooks. Bobby served his country with the U.S. Army Reserves and was retired from Chrysler. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Allen. Survivors include his wife, Emma of 47 years; daughter, Charlene (Richard) Hall of Fairborn; son, Gary (Joan) Brooks of Fairborn; grandchildren, Bridget, Gary, Brindon, Kyle, Kellsie, Wesley, Nick, Kaitlyn and Kelly; sister, Hazel Ayres of Vandalia. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday in the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, where services will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, January 5, 2006 with Rev. Jim Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Medway Cemetery.
