From The Knoxville News /sentinel 10 Jan 2006 ELLIOTT, WILLARD - age 86 of Clinton, TN, GLENN, MYRTLE ELIZABETH BEELER - age 88 of Jacksboro, formerly of Knoxville, WATKINS, DORA WRINN - age 93 of Oak Ridge and formerly of Loudon, WRIGHT, BILLIE JEAN HERRON - age 66, ELLIOTT, WILLARD - age 86 of Clinton, TN, passed away January 9, 2006 at his residence. He was a member of Indian Gap Baptist Church. Mr. Elliot is preceded in death by: wife of 67 years, Lorine Elliott; parents, Harrison and Myrtle Elliott; sisters, Bonnie Bell, Agnes Hicks, Rose Button, Anna Mae Humphrey, Ruby Pointer. Survivors: children, Cecil and wife Mary Elliott of Andersonville, TN, Shirley and husband Hubert Wilkerson of Andersonville, TN, Edna and husband Kyle Rutherford of Andersonville, TN, Judy and husband James Hamock of Heiskell, TN, Sue and husband George White of Andersonville, TN, Jerry and wife Lucille Elliott of Clinton, TN; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 with the funeral service following with Rev. Lester Mullins officiating at Holley-Gamble Chapel. Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at King Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of arrangements. GLENN, MYRTLE ELIZABETH BEELER - age 88 of Jacksboro, formerly of Knoxville, passed away 12:05 p.m. Friday January 7, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Glenn was a member of the Churches of Christ and retired from St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joe William Glenn; daughter, Beverly Joan Glenn; parents, Franklin LaFayette (Fate) and Della Maude Hunter Beeler; brothers, Lonzo Conklin Beeler and Bruce Rolland Beeler; sisters, Bonnie, Lillian, Mildred, Thelma, and Velma Beeler, and Betty Louise Beeler Miller. Survivors: son, Larry Wayne Glenn of Jacksboro, son and daughter-in-law, Darryl Allen and Cathy Price Glenn of Clinton; grandchildren, Leslie Ann Glenn Price and Lauren Elizabeth Glenn both of Clinton; sister, Stella Jeanette Beeler McMillan of Knoxville. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Stevens Chapel with Minister Tim Mefford officiating. Family and friends will meet at Stevens Mortuary Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. to go in procession to Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Maynardville for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service and interment. WATKINS, DORA WRINN - age 93 of Oak Ridge and formerly of Loudon, passed away Sunday evening, January 8, 2006 at Shannondale Retirement Center in Knoxville. Mrs. Watkins was a faithful member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge. She was a homemaker and in earlier years was employed with Genesco Hosiery Mills. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ray Alexander; son, Jim Mike Watkins; an infant daughter; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters. She is survived by: her daughters and son-in-law, Ray Aileen and Bill Morris, Tallahassee, FL and Mrs. Bauman (Glada) Alexander, Knoxville; grandchildren, Mike Watkins, Jeff Watkins, Leigh Ann Henry, Kris Wahlen, Teresa Reineke, Andrea Morris, Bauman Alexander, III, Roy Alexander and Ray Alexander; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am Thursday, Trinity United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. Rev. Aldana Allen officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall where light refreshments will also be served. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Loudon, at 3:00 pm. WRIGHT, BILLIE JEAN HERRON - age 66, passed away January 9, 2006 at her residence. She was born on March 25, 1939 in Jellico, TN to the late Grady Herron and Vagil Lambdon Herron. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: husband, Jasper Wright, Jr., of Williamstown, KY; sons, Glenn Wright of Ludlow, KY, Marvin Wright of London, KY, and Jerry Wright of Williamstown, KY; daughters, Janice (Wright) Cox of Morningview, KY and April Wright of Richwood, KY; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Herron of Madisonville, TN, Bob Herron of Norwood, Ohio and Johnny Wayne Herron of Jellico, TN. Funeral services will be held at Cox and Son Funeral Home, Jellico, TN on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., interment to follow at Douglas Cemetery, Woodridge Road, Jellico, TN. Family will receive friends at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N.
