Marlow, age 88 of LaFollette Gerri Jo Meade, age 27 of LaFollette Marjorie (Margie) Sharp, age 89 of Grantsboro Community in LaFollette, Billy Ray Allen, age 68 of Milford, Ohio formerly of Caryville passed away Oct. 21 at Clairmont Health Care Center in Milford OH. He was saved at Clairmont Nursing Home. He loved car racing and going to the Indianapolis 500. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Jean Filyaw Las Vegas, Nev; foster sisters, Gail Adkins and Barbara Sharp, LaFollette, Margaret Roysden Milford, OH, Carolyn Thompson, Caryville; brother, Johnny Allen, TX; foster brothers; Rev. Don Allen, William Obell Allen, Ronnie Allen and Faron Allen all of Caryville. Funeral services were Oct. 26 in the Martin Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Roysden and Rev. (Jay) Bolton, age 79 of Jacksboro, passed away Oct. 20 at St. Mary‚s Medical Center, Knoxville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Fordtown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father and mother, Marion and Lourina Bolton; daughter, Tina Cleo Bolton; brother, Charlie Bolton; half-brothers, Hubert, Earl, Monroe, Frank and Lewis Bolton; sister, Mary Jane Branam; half-sisters, Nannie Ridenour and Parlee Lambdin; stepson, Scotty Harding. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Bolton of Jacksboro; sons, Kelvin, Lee, Kenneth and Johnny Bolton all of LaFollette and Ernest Bolton of Maynardville; daughters, April Bolton of Kingston, Roxie Wylie and Janice Day both of LaFollette; step-children, Junior Harding of Clinton, Dennis Harding of Jacksboro, Dinah Richardson of North Carolina, and Teresa Brock of Jacksboro; brother, McKinnley Bolton of Athens ; sister, Lorene Marlow of White Oak; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Oct. 22 at Walters Chapel with Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Alfred Asbury Byrd officiating. Pearl Geneva (Granny) Bolton age 81, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 21 after a long illness. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, going to church at Victory Baptist where she was a member, giving out prayer clothes and going to Kilgore's Auction on Friday nights.She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bolton; granddaughter, Christina (Tina) Milton; parents, George and Lassie Brandenburg; brother, Everett Brandenburg; sister, Gladys Ostroeski. She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Marple and husband Kenneth of Jacksboro; granddaughter, Navenna Webster and husband Gary; great granddaughter, Amanda Parker and husband Shawn; great grandsons, Shawn and Dustin Webster; great great granddaughter, Kayleigh Parker; sisters, Ruby Greca all of LaFollette, Mildred Seiber and husband Vann of Oliver Springs; brother, Willie E. He retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and was a member of Braden's Chapel Church and Valley Star Masonic Lodge #577 F. and A.M. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Bratcher and mother, Ethel Bratcher, brothers, Henry D. (Red) Bratcher and Frank Bratcher. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Bratcher of Speedwell; daughter, Donna Whaley and husband Bruce of Speedwell; son, Steve Bratcher and wife Linda of Speedwell; grandsons, Michael, Evan, and John Edward. Ermie Dagley, age 89 of LaFollette, passed away Oct. 24 at St. Mary‚s Health and Rehab Center, LaFollette. She was a member of Grantsboro Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Dagley; twin sons, Ronnie and Donnie Dagley; stepson, Nevile Dagley; parents, Foster and Anna Mae Hatmaker; brothers, Paris Hatmaker and Clayton Hatmaker; sister, Esta Prater; special friend, Hinton Sharp. She is survived by her sisters, Eva Miller of Oliver Springs, Katy Prater of LaFollette, Lora Grace Miller of Oliver Springs, and Cora Lee Nelson and husband, Robert of Loudon; brothers, Rev. Herbert Eugene Griffith, age 92 of Speedwell passed away Oct. 15 at the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member and Deacon of East LaFollette Baptist Church. He loved watching baseball games, fishing and loved his family very much. He was a Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Georgia Ray Griffith; brothers, Leonard, John Fay and dale Griffith; sister, Sue Miller. He is survived by his wife, Ann R. She was born February 14, 1925 in Anderson County, TN to the late Harvey and Martha Nation Braden. She was a member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, TN. She loved fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carson Harvey; sisters, Stella and Irene Hendrix; brothers, Leonard and Floyd Braden. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Debra Bailey of Dayton, OH; sisters, Gladys McCulley and husband, Kenneth of LaFollette, Daisy Travis of Clinton and Izeda Parrott and husband, Hubert of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews. Marlow, age 88 of LaFollette passed away Oct. 19 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member and helped form the Campbell County Riding Club. He was also a Veteran of World War II and member of VFW. He loved fishing, hunting, show horses, and show dogs. He won several ribbons. He was a member of Miami Valley Beagle Club in Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Stanford Marlow; parents, John and Martha Jones Marlow; brother and sister in law, Bob and May Marlow; brother, John Marlow; sisters and brothers in law, Betty Jo and Eddie Randolph, Litha and John Marlow, Carrie and Grant Leach, Mossie and Raymond Teague, Tennie and Bill Teague. She was a member of the Fincastle Church of God. She loved her Church and her Church family. She liked to sing in the Choir and play her Guitar. She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Roxanne Meade of LaFollette; sisters and brother in laws, Mary and Tony Sammons of West Va, Kimberly and Clay Teffeteller of LaFollette; grandparents, LaVonne and Earl Meade and Mary Thompson all of LaFollette; nephews: T.J. and Michea Sammons and Dylan Teffeteller; a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella Sharp; sister, Pauline Bolinger; brothers, Glenn and Eugene Sharp.
