ERMIE - age 89 of LaFollette, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005, at St. Mary's Health & Rehab Center, LaFollette. She was a member of Grantsboro Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James T. Dagley, twin sons, Ronnie and Donnie Dagley, stepson, Nevile Dagley, parents, Foster and Anna Mae Hatmaker, brothers, Paris Hatmaker and Clayton Hatmaker, sister, Esta Prater, and special friend, Hinton Sharp. Survivors: sisters, Eva Miller of Oliver Springs, Katy Prater of LaFollette, Lora Grace Miller of Oliver Springs, and Cora Lee Nelson and husband, Robert of Loudon; brothers, Rev. Owen Hatmaker and wife, Hazel Mae of LaFollette, Ernest Hatmaker and wife Inez of Langlois, OR, and Hascue Hatmaker and wife, Inez of LaFollette; step granddaughter, Pat Cowan and husband, Bruce of Williamsburg, VA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Wednesday 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. J. T. Asbury and Brother Jerry Dagley officiating. Interment Thursday 11 A.M. at Grantsboro Cemetery. HARVEY, MATTIE - age 80, of LaFollette, TN, passed away October 23, 2005 at the Lake City Health Care Center. She was born February 14, 1925 in Anderson County, TN to the late Harvey and Martha Nation Braden. Mattie was a member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, TN. She loved fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. Mattie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carson Harvey, sisters, Stella and Irene Hendrix, brothers, Leonard and Floyd Braden. Survivors: step daughter, Debra Bailey, Dayton, OH; sisters, Gladys McCulley & husband KennethLaFollette, TN, Daisy Travis, Clinton, TN, Izeda Parrott & husband Hubert, LaFollette, TN; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 8 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2005 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Phillips and Chaplain Clay Mulford officiating. Interment: 11 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Butler Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements. PATT, FRANK - age 83 of Powell, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005 at Baptist Hospital after a short illness of unknown cause. He was a member of Bishopville Baptist Church, 50 year member of #582 F&AM Powell Masonic Lodge, and a former Chief Deputy of Anderson County and later retired from K-25 with 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served in Africa and Italy in World War II. Frank is preceded in death by: wife, Zelda Faye Moore Patt; parents, Maynard V. & Nellie Patt; son, Douglas Patt; sisters, Pauline Connor, Betty Jo Lamb, Willie Patt; brothers, John, Mart, Fritz, Mike, Charlie, Dan, and Elmer Patt. Survivors: children, Kay Miller & husband George of Powell, Janice White & husband Marvin of Powell, Katrinka Steele of Haines City, FL, Alissa Lay & husband Winfred Stone of Port St. Lucie, FL, Timothy Frank Patt & wife Walta of Powell; 3 grandsons, Matthew Richards & wife Daphne of Nashville, Aaron Lay of Port St. Lucie, FL, Andrew Patt of Powell; sisters, Margaret Everett of Knoxville, Charlotte Berrier of Powell; several nieces and nephews. He was a very special daddy, papaw, and brother and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the Chapel with Rev. Harold Ogle officiating. His burial will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are: grandsons, Matthew, Aaron and Andrew; son-in-laws, George Miller, Marvin White, and Winfred Stone.
