Morris Schofield Sexton, s/o William C. Sexton & Eldora M. West. Opha Sexton, 99, of the Paint Rock community, passed away September 16, 2005, at her home. Born in the Paint Rock community, August 27, 1906, she was preceded in death by her parents, John Freeman and Emily Phillips Sexton; her husband, Morris Schofield [Sexton]; infant daughter, Beatrice Sexton; two grandchildren, Rodney McQueen and Amber Nichole Sexton; four brothers: Arlin, Ezra, Elbert, and Eamer Sexton; two sisters, Artha Sexton and Oma Sexton. She was a member of Paint Rock Baptist Church; and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, canning, and cooking for her family. She is survived by three daughters: Mary Lee Sexton, Ivanee Sexton, and Ella McQueen and husband, Robert, all of the Paint Rock community; four sons: Willie Sexton, Claude Sexton, Fred Sexton and wife, Janice, all of the Paint Rock community, and Milford Sexton and wife, Betty, of Ohio; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives. Funeral service was conduct! ed September 17, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida, with Bro. Roger Cecil and Bro. Dean Barnes officiating. Music was provided by Paint Rock Church Choir, Lou-Nova Sexton, and J.C. Lloyd. Graveside service was conducted September 18, in the John Freeman Sexton Cemetery. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements. "Remember to the world you are just one person, but maybe to one person you are the world."
