Hamilton, age 91, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of LaFollette, Billy Gene Ivey, age 66 of Goshen, OH Edna Edwards Jones, age 102, of LaFollette Matthew Blake Morrow, age 21 Anderson "Bub" Eugene Morton, III, age 47 of Oak Ridge formerly of Piqua, OH Rosetta Roberts Sharp John Philman Walden, age 58 of LaFollette Croley Anderson, age 74 of Skaggs Branch Road, Williamsburg, KY passed away Sept. 17 at the Beech Tree Manor. He was born Feb. 11, 1931 at Saxton, KY the son of the late I.M. Anderson and Leoada Siler Anderson. He was a retired miner and member of High Cliff Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Tidwell Anderson; five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his brother, Bradley Anderson of Corbin, KY; sister, Mary Magdalene Wagner of Florence, KY; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were Sept. 20 at the Cox and Son Chapel with the Rev. Horace Partin and Rev. Floyd Hale officiating. Interment was in the Lot Cemetery. Cox and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Dolly Benge, age 76 of LaFollette, passed away Sept. 14 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, gardening, going to auctions and her family very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie D. Benge; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pennington; daughter, Ricky Diane Benge; sisters, Idie Pennington and Vinie Wells. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in law, J.D. and Irene Benge, Vernon and Shelva Benge, Dennis and Kathy Benge, Michael Benge, Danny Benge and fiancé, Connie Cordell all of LaFollette; brother, Luther Pennington of Ohio; sisters, Lille Pennington of GA and Nancy Pennington of KY; special friend, Milas Wells; special daughter-in-law, Linda Benge McCreary; special niece, Christine Rogers; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. (Junior) Brown of the Fincastle Community of LaFollette, passed away in Richardson, TX. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Kays; grandson, Larry Kays, II; husband, Frederick Kays in 1997 and John H. (Junior) Brown in 1979. She is survived by her children, Von Kays, Chris Brown, Pret Diffie, David Brown, and Janie York; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Michael Horace Douglas and Alberta Rigney Douglas; son, Estel Douglas. Edna Edwards Jones, age 102, of LaFollette passed away Sept. 18. She was a member of Church of God Mountain Assembly and attended West Walden Street Church of God. She is survived by her brother, Doyal Sowder of Sandford, NC; niece, Lois Hicks of Dayton, OH; several other nieces and nephews; special caregiver of 32 years, her pastor's wife, Mary Walden. Funeral services were Sept. 20 at the Cross Chapel with Rev. Jasper Walden, Rev. Jay Walden and Rev. James Coffey officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Matthew Blake Morrow, age 21 passed away Sept. 11 due to heart complications. He entered this world on April 28, 1984 to Kathy and Donny Morrow. He was studying Mortuary Science at John A. Gupton College and was to have become a licensed funeral director/embalmer this summer. He is survived by his parents, Kathy Morrow of Oneida and Donny Morrow and wife, Debbie of Oneida; sisters, Donika Terry and husband, Trevor of Oneida, Tonya Raper and husband, Brad of Helenwood; brother, Brian Wilson and wife, Lora of Helenwood and Jeremy Morrow and wife, Laura of Knoxville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Anderson "Bub" Eugene Morton, III, age 47 of Oak Ridge formerly of Piqua, OH passed away Sept. 14 at 6:25 p.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville. He was born Feb. 21, 1958 in Piqua, OH. He is survived by his father and mother, Anderson E. Morton, Jr. of Ormond Beach, Fla and Christine E. (King) Morton of Piqua, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and John Guillozet of Piqua, Sandy and Jeff Montgomery of Fletcher, Kathy and Rick Caserta of Piqua, Lisa and Ed Smith of Missouri, April and Wade Williams of Jacksboro. Funeral services will be Sept. 22 at 11 a.m. at the Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wells officiating. She was the seventh child born to Tilmon P. and Rachael (Lizzie) Harrison Roberts on August 26, 1935 at Fork Ridge. She enjoyed making quilt tops, embroidering, gardening and canning as well as spending time with her family and many friends. She was always the life of the party and she was well loved and will be missed by many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by his brothers, James Cleo Roberts and William J. (Bill) Roberts; sisters, Mary Helen (Pete) Smith and Betty A. Roberts; sister-in-law, Beedie Barton Roberts; brother-in-law, Clyde H. Woods; nephew, Bobby Joe Roberts. John Philman Walden, age 58 of LaFollette passed away Sept. 20 at the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, mountains, and blue grass music. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Ray Walden; parents, Floyd and Rosie Wilson Walden; brother, Everett Walden; sister, Rita Wilson. She is survived by her wife, Barbara Walden; sons, Ricky Johnson, Charlie, Floyd, and Louie Walden; daughters, Trish Allen, JoAnne Walden; 11 grandchildren; sister, Leona Miller all of LaFollette; very special daughter in law, Jane Walden; special friend, Wayne Madron; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
