I had recently posted to this list for help in locating info on my gr aunt's first husband, Harvey M. CHITWOOD. I appreciate the help I received from this list, and am following up on that. I just found an entry in the DAVIS family Bible showing our H. M. CHITWOOD to be born in Oakdale. Looking that up, I discovered 6 different places in TN have that town name, making this more difficult...and none of them being Scott Co! My question: does anyone on this list researching CHITWOOD have Chitwood family from Oakdale? And which county's Oakdale is closest to Scott Co? At this point, I am wondering if the info I found w this list's help even relates to the Chitwood I am trying to research! Jacqi
