From The Knoxville News Sentinel 18 - 19 Dec 2005 DICKEY, FRANKLIN PIERCE, III - age 67 of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, HERRING, MARGARET W. - of Oak Ridge, TN, JARRELLS, JERRY LYNN - age 60 of Powell, RANDOLPH, MARY LOUISE - age 53 of Harriman, DICKEY, FRANKLIN PIERCE, III - age 67 of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away at his home on December 16, 2005. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith Brasel and Franklin P. Dickey, Jr. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Carline and Frederick D. Dickey of Knoxville, Tennessee, Scottie and Thomas W. Dickey of Plano, Texas; nieces and nephews, Susan D. Beale of Knoxville, Scott Dickey of Maryville, Sally and Pierce Dickey of Plano, Texas. Mr. Dickey was born in Rockwood, Tennessee and graduated form Rockwood High School where he was valedictorian and president of his senior class. He attended the University of Tennessee, majoring in Engineering Physics. A military veteran, he served two years in Germany with the U.S. Army. He was retired from Martin Mariettta Energy Systems in Oak Ridge after 36 years of service. Mr. Dickey was an avid distant runner and a longtime supporter of University of Tennessee athletics. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 - 8 PM at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, 1 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood with Rev. Holly Woodruff officiating. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Unity Mortuary. JARRELLS, JERRY LYNN - age 60 of Powell, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jerry is preceded in death by: mother, Dorothy Packett. Survivors: wife, Shirley Shown Jarrells of Powell; son, Christopher Smith of Clinton; daughter, Angela Smith Ables of Powell; grandchildren, Tiffany and Zack Smith, Cody Aslinger, Syndey Wilson; brother-in-law, Doyle & Pat Shown of Norris; sisters-in- law, Carol & Eddie Wilson of Lake City, Pauline & Arthur Harness of Lake City, Jeraldine Johnson of Lake City. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Carl Elliott, Jr., and Rev. Walter Miller officiating. His burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden with Full Military Honors a graveside. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. RANDOLPH, MARY LOUISE - age 53 of Harriman, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005 in Roane Medical Center. She was a life long resident of Roane County. Preceded in death by: her husband, Bobby Randolph; son, James Albert Killensworth; parents, James T. and Doris Carter East; and brother, James T. East, Jr. Survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Mary A. and Randall Powers of Harriman; stepson, Steven Coleman; brother, Robert J. East of Chattanooga; and former husband, John Palmer of Kingston.
