MARTHA ROSE CHAPMAN - age 80, formerly of Harriman, RAMSEY, MILDRED K - age 92 of Clinton STOOKSBURY, ESTELENE - age 82 of Heiskell, LEDFORD, WADE EDWARD - age 64, of Lafollette passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed at Crutchfield Surveying. He retired from the National Guard & served in the US Army. Preceded in death by parents, Carl & Effie Lee Goins Ledford; sister, Betty Lynn Ledford; granddaughter, Heather Nicole Thacker. Survivors are daughters & sons-in-law: Rhonda & Bobby Braden, Briceville, Debbie & Timothy Thaker, Caryville, Donna & David Hamilton, Powell; son: Michael Wade Ledford, Jacksboro; 5 grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law: Jimmy & Sue Ann Ledford; sisters: Linda Hinch, Kathy & husband Harry Lee Brown, all of Lafollette, Shirley Guider, Ft. Myers, Fla.; several nieces & nephews. Services 8 PM Saturday Cross Chapel with Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday Fincastle Cemetery with Military Honors. She was a member of the Baptist faith & retired from Red Lobster. "Granny" loved to spend time with Kendra & her other grandkids & enjoyed fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, parents, Nellie Rose & Clifford Moore, brothers, L.D., & Manuel, sisters, Betty Rose and Patsy. She is survived by sons, Andy, James & wife Bea, George "Pete" & wife Sandra, Gene & friend Pat Coates; daughters, Betty & husband Gary Maples, Linda Shelton & friend Ott, Vicky Lee & Paul Shakles, Brenda Wyke & husband Sam, Beulah "Tootie" Sands & husband Jim; devoted granddaughter, Nellie Lee; 25 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; brothers, Sammy Joe Moore, Alonzo Moore & wife Violet; devoted sister, Faye Elmore & husband Smokey; & sister, Emma Swely. MARTHA ROSE CHAPMAN - age 80, formerly of Harriman, Tennessee, passed away Friday, December 2, 2005 in Conyers, Georgia. She was a member of the Conyers First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Loggins was a sports fan and enjoyed eating peanuts while watching football, baseball and basketball. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by parents, John W. & Stella Knight Chapman; husband, O. D. Loggins; sisters, Thelma Chapman Hart, Velma Phillips, Cora Sweat & Polly Chapman; brother, J. D. Chapman. Preceded in death by husband, Leslie Ramsey. Survived by: daughter, Marolyn Patterson and husband Carl; grandchildren: Carl Patterson, Jr. of Port Ritchie, FL, Mark Patterson of Powell, Joni Patterson of Jefferson City; great-grandchildren: Luke Patterson, Patrick Patterson, Katie Patterson. Visitation will be held from 5-7 with service to follow at 7 pm Saturday at Woodhaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 10 am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. She retired from Clinton Utilities Board after 39 years of service and was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church in Heiskell. Estelene was the last surviving child of the late John and Mary Jane Long Cox. She is preceded in death by: parents; sisters, Ethel Williams, Myrtle Reed, Roxie Graham, Ross Wallace, and Mae Steele; brothers, Floyd, Clyde, and Sam Cox. Survivors: husband of 47 years, Cecil Stooksbury; daughter, Jane & husband Ray Kile; closest friend since childhood, Marilda Wilson; brother & sisters-in-law, Milas & Edna Stooksbury, Nellie Wright.
