    3. The following obituary appeared in today's (01 December 2005) Dayton Daily News and maybe of interest to some. Walden, Beulah B., age 85, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the Harborside Healthcare Center in New Lebanon. Born August 16, 1920 in LaFollette, TN to the late Walter & Pernie (Chadwell) Branam. During WW II, she worked at Standard Register in Dayton, then stayed home to raise her children. She had been a member of the Olivet United Brethren in Christ Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on December16, 2003 by husband Jay R. Walden whom she married December 23, 1938: brother Walter Branam, Jr. in 1972: son-in-law Benny Ryder in 1998. Survived by son & daughter- in-law Donald J. & Vickie Walden of Wheelersburg, OH: daughters & sons-in-law Faye & Robert Garwood of New Lebanon; Ruchie & James Sporre of Kalkaska, MI; Georgia Ryder of New Lebanon; and Connie and Gary Brock of Ocala, FL: 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren: sisters Viola Bowlin of Jellico, TN; and Mary Wilson of LaFollette, TN: brothers Harold Branam of La! Follette; Ronnie Branam of Jacksboro, TN; and Keith Branam of Gatlinburg, TN. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Phil Marxson presiding. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Olivet United Brethren in Christ Church. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
