John was born October 26, 1942 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by: parents, John Brinyark and Christine Gibson Nipper; brothers, Gordon, Tony, and Johnny Brinyark. Survivors: wife, Carolyn Brinyark of Lake City; sons, Michael J. and Nicky Brinyark of Lake City, Jack Taylor of Lake City; daughters, Annette Seymour of Lake City, Marie Brinyark of Lake City, Brandy & husband Wayne Parsons of Knoxville; step mother, June Brinyark of Joplin, MO; brothers, Thomas & wife Blanche Brinyark of Knoxville, Danny & wife Karen Nipper of Knoxville, James & wife Terry Brinyark of Maynardville, Marvin & wife Amy Brinyark of Sweetwater; sisters, Brenda Taylor of Knoxville, Brenda & husband Eddie Dotson of Joplin, MO, Janice Derr of Knoxville, Vicky Brown of Knoxville, Linda Brinyark of Knoxville; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, December 2, 2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. His funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday in the Chapel with Rev. Preceded in death by: wives, Margaret McKinney Gamble & Thelma Pogue Gamble; granddaughter, Amy Lea Gamble; 4 brothers; 1 sister. Survivors: children, Ruth & Leonard Cofer of Jasper, TN., Gerald & Wilma Gamble of Oliver Springs, TN., Glenn & Linda Gamble of Harriman; sister, Ruby Bailey of Harriman; sister-in-law, Anna Wyatt Gamble of Jupiter, Fl.; brother-in-law, Eugene McKinney of Rockwood; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Owen L. Gross, grandson, Ronnie Gross, great grandson, Tommy Marlow. Survivors: son, Leon and wife, Phyllis Gross, Lake City; daughters, Shirley and husband, Jerry Lemp, Ohio, Teresa and husband, Billy R. Lawson, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
