Riley Byrd , 61, of Caraway, Ark. died Wed. in St. Bernaid's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Ark. He was a retired farm laborer and a Protestant, and had resided in Caraway a year, moving there from Bakerfield, Calif. Survivinf are his wife, Mrs. Billie Byrd of the home; five sons, Jimmy W. byrdof Houston,Texas., Riley Byrd Jr. and Jerry Byrd, both of Wasco, Calif ; Raymond Byrd of Carawayand Sidney Byrd of Shafter, Calif.; four daughters; Mrs. Linda Owens of Pickins, La, and Nrs. Freda Bean of Wasco, Calif; three brothers, William Byrd of Caraway, Oliver Byrd of Aberdeen, Miss. and Phillip Byrd of Avon Park, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Arvanna Garza and Mrs. Birdie Taylor both of Caraway, Ark. ; 19 grandchildren.Gregg Funeral Home , Monette,Ark. in charge.
