He married *(2) Sylvina Massengale*. She was born 18 Sep 1913. WEST, JAMES CRAWFORD - age 78, of Rt. 1, Oneida, passed away at the Scott County Hospital, Oct. 24, 1978. He was the son of the late JAMES WEST and the late DELIAH JANE WEST. He was preceded in death by one daughter: LASSIE BURRESS; one son: CLARENCE WEST; one brother: MACK WEST. Survivors: Wife: SYLVINA MASSENGALE WEST, Rt. 1, Oneida; two daughters: LISSIE WEST, Rt. 1, Oneida; MONNIE CHITWOOD, Rt. 1, Winfield; one son: ARVIL LEE WEST, Rt. 1, Pioneer, two sisters: LIZZIE BURRESS, Clinton, Tn. and MONNIE BLEVINS, Cincinnati, Ohio, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were conducted from the West-Collins & Murley Funeral Home Chapel, 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, with Rev. R. L. GIBSON, Rev. FINLEY HATFIELD and Rev. J. C. BLEVINS officiating. Burial in the Paint Rock Memorial Cemetery. West-Collins & Murley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
