From The Knoxville News Sentinel 31 Dec 2005 WILSON, ROY WOODY - age 70 of LaFollette passed away December 30, 2005 at the St. Mary's Select Specialty in Knoxville. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Eagles Club. He loved his dog named Sassy. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and loved his family very much. Preceded in death by grandson: Alexander Scott Goins, parents: Albert and Molly Jordan Wilson, brothers: Levi, Alonzo, John D. and Ira Wilson, sisters: Vessie, Ada and Della Wilson. Survived by daughters and sons-in-Law: Jerryl Ann and Gary Smith and Vessie and Gary Richardson all of Jacksboro. Glenice (Sissy) and Bob Powell of Duff. Ada Wilson of Indiana. Funeral services will be 8 PM Sunday January 1st , 2005 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Lewis Reynolds officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Monday January 2nd in Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday night before funeral services.
