JANIE - age 88 of LaFollette BARBER, ALMA (LOWE) - age 88 Kingston, TN born January 1, 1917 went home to be with the Lord December 9, 2005 at Roane Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 8 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2005 in the chapel of Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Don Daugherty officiating. Interment will be 3:30 P.M. Monday December 12 in Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday night before funeral services. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City is in charge of these arrangements. BRUCE, MARY LUCILLE - age 88, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Harriman Care and Rehab Center. She was a member of the Solway Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Melton and Callie Woods Melton, her husband, Cyrus R. Bruce, her grandson, Joe Bruce and 2 brothers, J.W. Melton and R.L. Melton. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Glois Bruce of Kingston and her daughters and sons-in- law, Betty and Ray Vandergriff of Hixon Tn, and Donna and Tim Mosley of Solway. Grandchildren, David and Cindy Bruce, Jimmy Carpenter and Cristy and Janie and Scott Bargerstock; her brothers, Eldred Melton of Waterloo Ala., and Clyde Melton of Mishawaka Ind.; several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. A very special thank you to her Church Family for all the visits. The family will receive friends from 6 pm til 8 pm on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm. Pastor Bill Jackson will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the Solway Church of God Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request that gifts be given to the Solway Church of God Cemetery. Weaver Funeral Home is charge of arrangements. LANCASTER, MRS. JANIE - age 88 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of the Fordtown Baptist Church and retired from Imperial Reading Corp. Preceded in death by husband, James Lancaster, parents Fate and Lizza Robbins, sisters and brothers, Etta Wallace, Ryle Robbins, Myrtle Robbins, Henry Robbins, and Bill Robbins. Survivors: children, Wanda Paul and husband, Lewis, Helen Wilson and husband, Albert, Robert Lancaster and wife, Katie, all of LaFollette, Jimmy Lancaster and wife, Rose of Clinton; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Monday 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Danny Wilson and her grandson, Rev. Robert Lancaster officiating. Interment Tuesday 11 A.M. Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday before services at Walters Funeral Home.
