I was wondering why none of the roads had their names anywhere. I finally gave up a long time ago. When my cousin is not working she takes me around since she was born and raised in Scott County. I usually don't do research when I am there though. I have too many family members to visit and still don't see most of them. I have been up there 3 to 4 times a year and haven't seen my Uncle in years. He lives at Capitol Hill...not 15 minutes from where I stay. I try to see friends also but just seem to run out of time no matter how long I stay. Oh well...At least now I know why the roads don't have road signs. As you all read I had to send this on to my cousin Mike with a laugh. On a serious note though information such as this is very helpful for those of us that live out of state. I appreciate knowing about the lack of signs because my BAKER family (who married into the Trammel family) hopefully will one day make a trip back to Jellico Creek area in the near future. I'll get the GPS out !! Thanks again, Janet At 08:30 AM 9/11/2007, you wrote: >Well, that explains it. I just KNEW there had to be a reason!
