Lisa Well, I can see that I need to set aside a block of time for book buying! Researching Tennessee from Michigan could use a little of that kind of help! I have looked at a couple of those books, but they are at the State of Michigan Library - not available from them on interlibrary loan - and that's about 3 1/2 hours away. I guess we'll just take along beans and water and spend our *eating* money on books!! ;-) Thanks for the offer of look-ups - for everybody - and I just may have to contact you off list to see if we can find some of those names BEFORE we go down to Scott County. Nancy in cool, sunny Michigan - all fresh and sparkly after the rains! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lisa Frederick-Hughes" <lisafred24@sbcglobal.net> To: <tnscott@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2007 9:01 AM Subject: Re: [TNSCOTT] TNSCOTT Digest, Vol 2, Issue 200 > Sue and Nancy, > > The Christian Bookstore in Oneida (in the strip center where Wal-mart is > at) has a lot of Scott County Historical Society books.
