Glenn was best friend, lover, partner, and soul mate to his wife of 19 years, Stacy. A devoted and loving father to his son, Jeremy, and daughters, Desiree and Rachel. He was also already devoted to and eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild, Haley Alexa Rose. Glenn was a hard-working man who rarely complained. His big heart and quick ability to make snap decisions made him a well-respected man and friend at his job at the K-25 East Tennessee Technology Park site. He was an avid rider of his 1997 Soft tail custom Harley-Davidson - traveling over 60,000 miles on it since 2003. He loved working on cars and going to NASCAR races with his friend, Terry Riley. He was a man dedicated to his country. He studied the history of our beloved country and could tell the true stories of our country. He loved traveling on cruise ships with his family, seeing other countries. But, nothing was more important to him than his time with his family. Glenn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob David and Louise McCoy, and Claude Capus Wise. Survivors include his loving wife, Stacy; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Beth; daughter, Desiree (John) and Rachel (Jessica); and his soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Haley Alexa Rose; mother and stepfather, Sandra and Jim Franklin of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; father and stepmother, David and Mary Jane McCoy of Dayton, Va.; 90-year-old grandmother, Beatrice Wise of Florence, S.C.; uncles, Claude and Jerome Wise of South Carolina; two brothers, Kenneth W. and Staff Sgt. Clinton M. McCoy, both Texas; stepsisters, Lori and her husband, Wyman Patrick, Leigh Albers, Lisa Crouch, and Laura Long from Columbia, S.C.; mother and father-in-law, Marian and Paul H. Jones; and brothers-in-law, Rick and Paul "Buddy" Jones; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. He rarely met a stranger or a person he didn't like. Though he has departed this world for a greater life with God, he will always be in our hearts and souls until we meet him again when he comes to gather us up at the pearly gates of heaven. We will miss him with every ounce of our being. We love you, my one and only love. Love you more!
