    2. Allen Thank you for explain the Millet, I think I have heard one of my aunts talk about sowing or planting millet, but I didn't ask her question and now it is too late. I have heard of the painting symbols on barns, but if memory serves me, they called them "Hex" painting, guess you could call them dechanting symbols, since they were to keep away unfriendly enties.     3. There are a lot of "hex" paintings on barns in Southern Indiana... especially around the Amish areas. Ever go to Brown County?
