McCARTT, MR. L.A., age 69, passed away Sunday August 5, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. He was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement in 2001. He was preceded in death by wife; Kathryn Fairchild McCartt. Parents; Pleas and Annie McCartt, Brothers; James, John, Sammy and Robert. Sisters; Janie, Emmie and Sally. Mr. McCartt is survived by daughters; Darlene (Sissy) Hall and husband Bryan, Pam Webb and husband Tony. Three grandchildren; Quinnette Hamby, A.J. and Meagan Webb. Brothers; M.D., Glen and P.J. Sisters; June, Betty, Ella, Susie, Gladys, Phyllis and Eva. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 7, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright.
