D.L. Phillips, 77, of > Phillips Rd., Lake City Rt.1, died Wednesday morning at Oak Ridge Hospital > of a heart attack. He had been in poor health for some time with a history > of heart trouble and emphysema. He died a few hours after sustaining the > attack at his home. Mr. Phillips was pastor of Clinch River Baptist Church > for five years, leaving in 1961 to found East Jacksboro Church in Campbell > County.
