    3. On 12-12-2007 I posted an obit on Nora Posey Phillips from the Clinton Courier Oct.13, 1988 and On 12-14-2007 I posted D.L. Phillips from the Clinton Courier Aug. 7, 1975. I posted these to the Anderson Co.and Scott Co. mailing list. On 12-19-2007 I went to the Independent Herald the Scott Co. News and to my Shock these two obits are printed in the obit and list Nora Posey Phillips death Oct.7, 2007. I wrote the Newspaper and I not heard back from them.I do not know how that these obits got print in the paper.I did not want anyone to think that I would have done this, The reason I type obits up and post them is to help with family research. I feel really bad that this was done and truly sorry if this caused any problems for the families. I take my time and post these in hope that they will help in everyone research.Once again I am sorry that this happen and hope that it did not cause and problems for any family members. Susie

    3. Thanks Susie. I missed that and should have caught that. Both obits from the Courier and IH for D.L. and Nora are posted on my website with the correct dates now. ...tim west... 3. The Independent Herald had been called from an area funeral home wanting our email address to send us an obit from out of town. As deadline neared, I checked my email and sure enough there was an obit. I failed to check the date in the obit & sent it to the typesetter. That's how mistakes are made and newspapers are, I'm afraid, full of 'em. That's how this one happened and apparently, our competitor who prints the day after we do, merely picked it up from our paper. We apologize for the error. We've had a couple of phone calls telling us that it was a mistake, but to my knowledge, we haven't received an email from anyone alerting us to the error . . . at least not one that was passed along to me. In any event, it was our error, and we apologize. — Paul Roy, Publisher On Dec 20, 2007, at 5:49 PM, susiebullock wrote: > On 12-12-2007 I posted an obit on Nora Posey Phillips from the > Clinton Courier Oct.13, 1988 and On 12-14-2007 I > posted D.L.
