Greetings I just found a note that I had made a while back... have no idea where I found the information, but am hoping that someone would be kind enough to look this up for me. It's about an obituary for Jarvis H CHITWOOD Died 20 Apr 1968 in the Winfield area (He's buried in the Walker Cemetery) My note refers to the Scott County Independent Herald issue of January 24, 2002. I have no idea why a 1968 obituary would appear in a 2002 publication, but I sure would appreciate a copy. Jarvis was my grandmother's older brother, (a son of Rev Joel and "Jane" CHITWOOD) and my dad talked of him often. I actually met him on a trip to Winfield in the 1960s. He was quite a character.
