Hi all On the Scott Couny website - http://www.tngenweb.org/scott/ there is a page that features the Scott County, Tennessee Index to the "FNB (First National Bank) Chronicles". There are many wonderful stories taken from issues of these Chronicles printed on the website. The Index lists an issue that I would love to have a reproduction of. But I don't know how to get one. It is the issue of Fall, 2002, Vol 14, No 1. It contains the 100th anniversary write-up of the Pine Grove Baptist Church (which my g-grandfather, Rev Joel C CHITWOOD, reportedly co-founded, with his brother-in-law, Daniel BLEVINS.) I would love to read this historical account. There also is an article called "Pine Grove Baptist Church: A Remembrance". The same issue also has a feature on "Stearns - the Town and the Company". Since Mr Stearns came from my hometown (Ludington, Michigan) and founded Stearns, KY, then sent my grandfather (John SCHRADER, who married Charity CHITWOOD) down from Ludington to work in the lumber mills there, I would really like to see this write-up, too.
