Connie, Cooper's Store was begun by Eli Cooper and passed down to his son Lafayette, known as Fate. Eli (1849-1929) married Jemima Taylor and his sister Elizabeth married Reuben Taylor, Jemima's brother. Reuben and Elizabeth are my G-Grandparents. Eli was the son of Geo Wash Cooper/Emily Wilson and Jemima was the daughter of Dempsey Taylor/Anna Meadors. While I don't think you and I have corresponded before, I'm familiar with your name through Debbie Reynolds. It says use only for merchandise. The date on the card it's sealed in says 1945. I was wondering if anyone knows what Coopers lived there at that time. My Cooper line lived in Campbell Co which is nearby. My sister sent it to me from Missouri. She got it from a neighbor.
