I have recently lost my hard drive and with it went all my email addresses and names. I was trying to correspond with someone regarding Martha Duncan of Scott/Anderson TN. Craftybcp told me about her, but I cant remember her name! Bonita please email me again please! Thanks Tina
Hi everybody, When you are posting look-ups please give as much information as possible... Posting last names is not enough...We need first names and approx. date of birth , parents if known, or any info that would help. For instance, I have 9 Nancy Smiths in my files....With no info other than a name it would be impossible to know which one if any of them you were needing...Maybe we should have another roll call....Just list the line you are researching with as much info as possible and put Roll Call in the subject....Most of you know how this is done but for the new members of the list I will start out with mine so you can see an example. You may want to do it a little different than I have but you would still need to give as much info as possible....This my direct line below. Timothy Sexton...b..1750...d..1832 Morgan County...m. That takes the searcher to a page titled "Birth, Death and Marriage Records" and the clickable "Apply for a copy of a report issued by an American embassy or consulate showing that a U.S. citizen was born, married or died while abroad."Through the magic of the Internet, that takes you to "Consular Reports of Birth, Death, and Marriage on File with the Department of State."
