Born Aug. 13, 1908, in Campbell County, she was the daughter of Phillip and Susan Childs Campbell. She was a member of Blowing Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gaylor. Mrs. Gaylor is survived by her son, John T. Gaylor and wife, Irene, of Clinton; and by three daughters, Susie Harris husband, Robert, of Clinton, and Gertrude Nolan and husband, Conrad, and Janett Nolan and husband, David, all of Harrison, Ohio. She is also survived by grandchildren, Bobbie, David, Russ, Jill, Patrice, Amy, Wanda, Lisa, Janell, Peter, Steven Dale, Paul, James, Tommy, Diana, Tammy, John Jr., Tracy and Shawn; 26 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Blowing Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Karen A. Lushbaugh, 49, of Oak Ridge, died Friday Jan. 16, 2004, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born April 18, 1954, in Binghamton, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Lushbaugh is survived by her husband, Robert C. Lushbaugh; her son, Jeffrey Lushbaugh and wife, Maria, of New Brunswick, N.J.; two daughters, Sarah Lushbaugh and Kimberly Lushbaugh, both of Oak Ridge; and her mother, Ann Mastrogiovanni, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. A private service will be held at a later date. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Conrad Wilson, 80, of Clinton, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at his home. According to his family, Mr. Wilson was a loving, respected and caring member of his community, and will be missed by those who know and love him. "We love you daddy, papaw and great-papaw," family members said. "Your loving family will keep your cherished memory alive with us always until we meet you again and hear your voice." He is preceded in death by his parents the Rev. Edgebert and Rosa Herrell Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilda Randolph Wilson; two daughters, Connie Hill and husband, Jamie, and Betty, all of Clinton; three grandchildren, Kimberly Harrell and husband, Dallas, Jason Shipley and wife, Erica, and Stacey Sharp and husband, Bobby, all of Clinton; and by three great-granddaughters, Sedona Rachel Harrell, Millie Brett Shipley, and Jasie Hope Shipley. He is also survived by a brother, Clifford Wilson and wife, Cora Lee, of Clinton; two sisters, Una V. Hammer and husband, Clarence, and Edna Hammer and husband, Lloyd, all of Clinton; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Terry Steil officiating. Burial will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton with full military rites. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 29, at the funeral home. Born in Flushing, Queens, N.Y., she made her home in Thompson Station. She was a retired manager for Bank of America and was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Kenny. Born May 26, 1935, in Knoxville, she was the daughter of Ernest J. Rader, now deceased, and Frances Vandergriff Radar Lee. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1953. She was employed by the Alexander Inn for 25 years. Her brother, David Radar, also died earlier. In addition to her mother and stepfather, Howard, she is survived by her son, Jimmy Mimbs, of Seattle, Wash.; her sister, Barbara Hamlett and husband, Allen, of Claxton; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Radar; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry Conrad Schafer, 96, of Oak Ridge, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at The Estates of Oak Ridge. Born Sept. 2, 1907, he was the son of Frank and Anne Schafer of Duluth, Minn. Mr. Schafer retired from Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois, where he was a machinist. He was an avid bowler and member of the American Bowling Congress for over 75 years, during which time he participated in tournaments across the country, winning several trophies and prizes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Schafer, Frederick Schafer and Herman Schafer, and by two sisters, Carrie Rainey and Kathryn Vogt. Mr. Schafer is survived by three nieces, Betty Johnson of Oak Ridge, Gloria Bjorkland and husband Howie of Fargo, N.D., and Marilyn Baker and husband, Dick, of Lakeland, Colo.; and by six nephews, Frederick Schafer and wife, Charlotte, of Titusville, Fla., Donald Schafer and wife, Virginia, of Oak Ridge, Lawrence Vogt and wife, Lorrayne, of Jamestown, N.D., Robert Schafer and wife, Audrey, of Colgate, Wis., Robert Schafer and wife, Darlene, of Proctor, Minn., and Frank Schafer and wife, Mary, of Perrysburg, Ohio. The body was cremated and no services are planned. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Ella Mae Sullivan, 82, of Oak Ridge, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at The Estates of Oak Ridge. Born Oct. 1, 1921, she was the daughter of George Harrison Hatfield and Della Mae Hatfield. Growing up on a farm in Corryton, she was the middle child of seven children. A 1937 graduate of Gibbs High School, and a 1941 graduate of the University of Tennessee, she taught economics for four years and worked from 1945 to 1954 as a laboratory analyst for Union Carbide Nuclear Division. She met and married her husband, Howard Sullivan, in 1952, and took a break from her career to rear three children. She later returned to work at Loveman's department store. She then returned to Carbide in 1975 and retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems in 1985. Her family said she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She sang in a gospel quartet and was an accomplished seamstress. During her retirement, she enjoyed golf at the Oak Ridge Country Club, holding various offices in the 9-Hole Ladies Gold Association. According to her family, she also enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Collins. In addition to her husband of 51 years, Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her daughter, Ann Lyndon and husband, John, of Florence, Ala.; twin sons, Mike Sullivan and wife, Susan, of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Joe Sullivan of Roswell, Ga.; and three grandsons, Will Lyndon of Mobile, Ala., and Skylar Sullivan and Duncan Sullivan, both of Fort Campbell. She is also survived by a sister and four brothers, Ruby Taylor of Cleveland, Charles Hatfield and wife, Mildred, of Mascot, John Hatfield and wife, Mary, of Florence, George Hatfield of Luttrell, and Bill Hatfield and wife, Lois of Halls. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at The Estates of Oak Ridge, especially those devoted to the Treasures Unit. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at the United Church, Chapel on the Hill. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Oliver Springs Highway. Ray Walker, Jim Roberts, Bob DeBaker, Ward Foster, Nat Hill and Sam Krakoviak will serve as pallbearers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Stephens. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ben H. The subject line is "hi" or "hello" or "server report" and several others. Mine came from @rootsweb address. I am sure this person di not send it intentionally. Once activated it infiltrates your email program and begins sending emails to every email address in your mail program. She was a lifelong resident of East Tennessee, a homemaker and member of Beech Park Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Mrs. Heydel is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. "Bones" Heydel; two daughters, Victoria Moncier and husband, David, of Oliver Springs, and Lisa Jones of Weston, Fla.; two sons, Stephen Heydel of Knoxville and Russell Heydel and wife, Tosha, of Oliver Springs; and two grandchildren, Eric Moncier of Oliver Springs and Jessie Jones of Weston. Chandler Paul King, 90, of Powell, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Windwood Health and Rehab Center in Clinton, two days shy of his 91st birthday. As a boy he attended and was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. After moving to Clinton, he attended churches in Clinton and for the past 60 years he attended Moore's Gap United Methodist Church. As a young man, he worked at Magnet Mills in Clinton and then in Norfolk Navy Yard until he was called to serve in World War II, where he was aboard the L.S.T. 544. After being discharge from the Navy, Mr. King worked for the East Tennessee Oil Co. until he and his brother-in-law, Elba Jeffers, bought a service station in the Claxton area. He owned and operated a Gulf station in Oak Ridge for 25 years until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Rosa Katherine Shinlever King, and by four sisters and six brothers. Mr. King is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maude Brooks King; his daughter, Margaret Burroughs and husband, Harry D., of Chattanooga; his grandson, Eric Foster Burroughs, of Knoxville; and by two granddaughters, Shannon Marie Burroughs of Knoxville, and Chelsea Elyce Burroughs of Chattanooga. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Grace Walker and husband, Obern, and Virginia B. Crow, all of Clinton, and Betty Mosteller and husband, Bobby, of Chatsworth, Ga.; a brother-in-law, J. He also served the city of Oliver Springs as a council member from 1983 to 1985. According to his family, his hobbies were gardening and politics. Born March 5, 1928, in Jefferson County, he was the son of Willard and Iva Davis Ownby. Mr. Ownby was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1985 from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he was a carpenter. He was a member of Robertsville Baptist Church, the Alpha Masonic Lodge No. 376 in Clinton, Knoxville Scottish Rite and Kerbela Temple in Knoxville. According to his family, he was an avid gardener, woodworker, knife and stamp collector and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Vaughn Ownby, in 1969, and by a half-brother, Doyle Ownby, of Sevierville, in 2003. Mr. Ownby is survived by his wife of 22 years, Collene Prewett Ownby; his son, C. Steven Ownby and wife, Margie, of Clinton; his daughter, Karen Barry and husband, Charles, of Clinton; and by his stepmother, Ivalee Ownby, of Sevierville.
