I am married to a wonderful older gentleman. We were married in 2001. He is a divorcee with two grown kids of his own. We have no children, but we have a cat. I work as an accountant and my husband is a security guard. We have a small business photographing high school and youth sports and in my spare time I make handmade jewelry. 3. Dear Joann, Hello, I checked the 1860 Scott County, Tennessee census and there is not Alexander Goodman listed. Was he born in Tennessee or possibly somewhere else? 1. [TNSCOTT] : Hurtt/Sexton/ Newport
    2. Maureen Brook
    3. Christie, I am a Hurtt(Hurt)/Sexton family researcher from Scott County. I have Newport in the Hurtt line. Scyrene Hurt(DOB September 17, 1845 married James Newport in 1867 in Brimestone. This couple had seven children. Scyrene was the sister to ggrandfather Reuben Hurtt. Scyrene and Reuben's father was named John Crawford Hurt. So, I am seeing the same names in this email as my family had there in Scott County. I am looking for family connections. I did check my database for Elvira or Stonecipher and I don't connect. Hope you might see a link. Happy Hunting, Maureen Brook -----Original Message----- From: Christie Williamson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, October 17, 2005 6:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TNSCOTT] Jeffers, Newport, Jeffers, Byrd Eve, It appears that I didn't reply. I don't know except that it was probably around the time that Mom was getting married and I was working on a project for her at the time. In any event, I would love to share information with you. I do not have any information on Serena or her father. I am a descendant from James Crawford Stonecipher and Elvira Newport. I am also in touch with a cousin in Wisconsin who is also a descendant of these two. Brief Bio: I was born in Carlisle, Kentucky. I have an older sister named Allyson who lives in Vermont with her new husband and her 10 year old daughter. My parents were divorced in 1997 and Dad remarried last year and Mom remarried this year. Dad started researching the family tree when an exboyfriend gave him Family Tree Maker and it's been snowballing ever since. I have researched my husband's side of the family and my Mom's side. I am also working on her new husband's side of the family, too. It's fun making connections. You can't research the past and ignore the present, I always say! Hope to hear from you soon! Christie [email protected] wrote: Christie, I too am researching the Stoneciphers. My g grandmother was Serena Jane Stonecipher, daughter of Henry Hampton Stonecipher. 3. Hi everyone, I have added a couple of photographs to my website and I thought you might be interested in checking them out. One is a baptizing at the Brickyard Pond in Robbins, TN. in 1959. The second one is an old store either in Robbins or Glenmary during the late 1930's or early 40's. Click on the link below and these two pictures are the last two links on the bottom of page. Any information on these photographs will be greatly appreciated. 3. Hello All: I seem to be having trouble successfully sending email to any "AOL" user. The AOL filter doesn't like the url links in my signature or something?? So I am asking all who wish to receive any correspondence from me to add me to their address book in their email program. This may resolve the problem. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!
