Can someone please tell me how to access these two records located in the Record Book Index: Carter, Alexander -Dec’d- Book 24,pg359 Carter, Alex -Dec’d- Book 27,pg193 I am looking for the family of Alexander Carter & wife Rhoda, both b:NC about 1798. They appear on the 1850 Rutherford census with daughters Polly Ann & Elizabeth. Am I right in assuming the notation above "Dec’d" means "deceased" and the two entries are Wills?
