It's been a good while since I posted my Reed branch of my family. The earliest I can find this family was first found in Rutherford Co. TN in the first half of the 1850s. By 1850, they have moved to Marshall Co. KY. Then by 1853 the Reed family had moved to Johnson Co. Illinois. I am interested in and welcome any and all information on this elusive family. I am specially looking for info on the following: a. Parents and siblings of Jessey Reed (b. abt.1788) and his wife Mary Fagon. Where were they born? Where did the family live before Rutherford Co. TN. b. Who was Catharine McKee? Was she his daughter who married and moved back home? c. Anything about Sarah C. Jourdan. I am not sure if Burton met her in Rutherford Co. TN or in Marshall Co. KY d.
