    3. My grandfather was (Lawrence) Les Basham, son of Hartwell B. Basham, son of Henry, son of Littlebury Basham (who married a Basham - Polly). Littlebury was probably the son of Bartlett Angel Basham Jr. Polly's father was a William, I think. I am at work out of town and don't have any papers with me. This is what I think there is. There were a lot of repetitive first names so some confusion when you get on back a ways. I guess all the Basham's probably started out in Breckenridge Co. My grandparents lived in Edmonson County by the early 1900's. Kyrock, Sweeden and Brownsville. -----Original Message----- From: Greg and Ginger Keeling [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 10:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TNRUTHER] Anderson/Fletcher Lisa, Kentucky Bashams? 3. Lisa, I have a Bartlett as a son of Obediah. This same Obediah's grandmother was Sarah Angel. I've not researched the KY line much at all, but have the data from another resarcher, though it is scanty. I will be interested to see if your line tracks back to this Obediah and his dad William Basham, Jr. William's dad William Basham, Sr. was married to Sarah Angel. They both died in Cumberland Co, VA. The data I have lists William Basham, Jr. as a brother of a Bartlett Angel Basham, b. @ 1739, d. @ 1779, though, like I said above, I've not researched this line much at all. Looking forward to hearing from you on this. I'm curious to see if it is, indeed, all the same bunch. Greg "Hall, Lisa" wrote: > My grandfather was (Lawrence) Les Basham, son of Hartwell B.
